Ralph Edmonds

Senior Pastor

Ralph Edmonds has been a part of GNBC since he came to Chicago from Alabama in 1982. He first attended West Alabama University before graduating from Southeastern Bible College and completing seminary at Talbot School of Theology in California. His wife is affectionately known at the church as Ms. Chris and they together have two sons, Zach and Jared. Though Ralph has completely embraced the Puerto Rican culture that is in the neighborhood around him and in the church he still holds fast to and loves his Alabama roots.

Carey Wiese

Associate Pastor

Carey is originally from the state of Iowa. While attending college in Wisconsin, the Lord began to give him a burden for those facing socio-economic distress and spiritual lostness. He went on to receive a Master’s in social work from the University of Michigan. More importantly, that’s where he met – and eventually married – Lisa. Carey completed the MDiv program at Trinity, and joined the pastoral staff at GNBC in 2012. He loves serving with this church family to share Christ’s message and compassion.
